WE ARE LEARNING TO GROW TOGETHER
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, get your hands in the soil, and help build something meaningful?
We created this farm to serve as a community resource to learn and grow alongside us. Our mission to grow food justice, nurture abundance, and reclaim community power through regenerative farming only comes true if we're growing with you.
Grow food. Grow community. Grow together.
Grow food. Grow community. Grow together.

Your volunteer hours here at D'Best Urban Farm translate into credits that you can cash-in when you're ready.

Many people want to connect with the land, learn real growing skills, and make tangible impact in Atlanta's food ecosystem.
Why Get Involved?
Learn from experienced growers and fellow volunteers
Meet passionate, like-minded folks who care about food justice
Take pride in work that matters
Learn by doing and gain useful life skills
-
Thanks to a grant from Food Well Alliance we offer a tiered reciprocity program for repeat volunteers to be compensated for their on-going contributions to the farm.
1 HR of Work =
2 lbs Fresh Produce
5 Starter Plants
$15 Cash Stipend (Paid Monthly)
$15 Credit → One Night Only Supper Club
Mix and match your credits. Get some produce, grab some plants, save your sweat equity up for the ticketed events, or have a little more pocket money for your efforts. You'll receive more than experience for your help, you'll get the essence of your life supported, and have access to the farm as an event space.

Farm tasks vary with the season, from building to sowing, and growing, but every session is rooted in learning, collaboration, and fun.
We have activities all year round and begin seeding plants in the greenhouse as early as January.

Some of this stuff we hope is common sense, but just to do our due diligence.
Things to Bring
A curious attitude and revolutionary spirit.
It’s often hot, and humid so please wear suitable clothes and shoes.
Bring a hat and sun protection.
A water bottle, though we will always have water available.
We do a lot for mosquito control, but it is the South, if you are sensitive please come prepared.
Questions. If we don’t know the answer we’ll figure it out.

Someone is here working most days. We have morning hours from 10am-1pm and we have evening hours from 4pm-7pm. This avoids working in the hottest part of the day.
